Barton & Guestier has selected, vinified, bottled and shipped fine French appellation wines for almost 300 years. This Sancerre is a Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc grown on chalky-limestone soils and aged on its lees.
Tasting Notes
Bright, pale straw yellow. Expressive nose mixing intense floral aromas (acacia), white berries and exotic fruit (pineapple) with a touch of citrus (grapefruit). Fresh and lively attack evolving on a long, mineral finish.
Pairing Recommendation
Pairs with grilled fish, seafood and goat cheese; best served at 10–12°C (50–54°F).
