BloodRoot is a California collaboration between esteemed winemakers focused on high-quality, value-minded wines. This Pinot Noir blends vineyards across Mendocino and Sonoma County (chiefly Goldridge sandy loam and clay soils), with about 15% whole-cluster fermentation, basket pressing and 18 months in French oak (20% new).
Tasting Notes
The nose is delightfully aromatic, with strawberries, cranberries and a hint of forest floor. The palate is full of juicy red-fruit flavors, lifted by bright acidity.
