Profile & Story

Alta Rocca is Clos Canarelli's top red cuvee, 100% Sciaccarellu grown on the granite soils of the Figari appellation at Corsica's southern tip. Fermentation lasts about a month in stainless steel tank with regular punch-downs, followed by 25 months of aging in foudre; the wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Tasting Notes

Bursting with seductive red berries, white pepper, and supple floral delicacy, with virtually no tannin and distinctly Mediterranean flavors (per official importer notes).
