Clos Canarelli is Yves Canarelli's estate near the village of Tarrabucetta, outside Figari on the southern tip of Corsica; the domaine has been certified organic since 2002 and biodynamic since 2006, and Canarelli has championed the restoration of native Corsican varietals on the property's granite soils. The 'BG' bottling is 100% Biancu Gentile: whole clusters are pressed immediately after harvest, fermented on the lees in concrete eggs, then lightly filtered to remove heavy lees before bottling in the spring following harvest.
