Clos Venturi comprises a 28-hectare vineyard within the Corsican estate of Domaine Vico, planted at 400 metres above sea level on a sandstone hill in Ponte-Leccia, farmed with sheep, chickens and beehives for natural fertility and biodiversity, low yields and horsepower cultivation. The 'Brama' wines (Corsican for 'sigh', after the soft night breezes that cross the island) come from a single parcel of 25-35-year-old vines. The 100% Sciaccarellu 'Brama' is hand-harvested and fermented with regular punch-downs to maximise tannin and colour extraction, then aged 14-18 months before bottling. ABV 13.5%.
