Domaine Giudicelli is a biodynamic (Demeter-certified) estate run by Muriel and Stéphane Giudicelli in Poggio d'Oletta, in the heart of the Patrimonio appellation in northern Corsica, farming around ten hectares at the intersection of three terroirs — the schists of Cap Corse, the granites of the Désert des Agriates, and the clay-limestone slopes around Sant'Angelo. This Patrimonio Rouge is 100% Niellucciu, hand-harvested and fermented with indigenous yeasts and minimal sulfur.
Tasting Notes
Elegant and refined, with a weightless touch and a feathery texture; ripe, sumptuous fruit that avoids rusticity, floral and tart in character.
Pairing Recommendation
Pairs nicely with a warm soup or stew glossed with a good olive oil, or a selection of Mediterranean dips such as muhammara, baba ganoush, and labneh with za'atar and pita.
