Domaine Leccia is a family estate in Poggio d'Oletta, Patrimonio, producing wine since around 1900, now run by Annette Leccia across 13 organically farmed hectares (Ecocert FR-BIO-01) on clay-limestone soil with schist outcroppings. This Patrimonio Rouge is 100% Niellucciu from vines planted at 4,000 vines/hectare, farmed without herbicides or synthetic products (yield capped at 45 hl/ha). Winemaking involves total destemming, daily pump-overs to a density of 1000, temperature-controlled fermentation at 25-30°C with a 15-day maceration using indigenous yeasts, completed malolactic fermentation, and 24 months of aging in stainless steel (no oak).
Tasting Notes
Ruby in color, with a fine, precise nose of expressive red and black berry fruit lifted by touches of leather, game, cocoa, and spice. The palate is supple and gourmand, showing red fruit and licorice alongside violet and game notes, finishing with refined, well-integrated tannins.

Pairs with red meats, game, stews, and cheeses; best served at 16-18°C after a brief decanting.
