Yves Leccia is a Corsican winemaker who branched off from the family estate in 2004 to focus on his own vineyards in the heart of the Patrimonio appellation. The YL range is the domaine's signature collection, drawn from the Partinelone terroir. This white blends 60% Vermentinu and 40% Biancu Gentile from vines planted at 4,000 vines/hectare on clay-limestone soil over a schist base. Grapes are whole-bunch pressed, cold-settled at 8°C for 24 hours, then fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel at 18°C for 15-20 days (no malolactic fermentation), followed by 6 months of aging in stainless steel. Certified organic (FR-BIO-01), IGP Ile de Beauté designation, alcohol 13.5%.
