From Yves Leccia's E Croce plateau — a thin chalk soil over pure schist bedrock facing the Gulf of Saint-Florent — this AOC Patrimonio red is a blend of 90% Niellucciu and 10% Grenache, certified organic (FR-BIO-01), grown on clay-limestone soil over slate. Grapes are hand-selected and vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel (25-30°C) with a 12-15 day maceration. Aging potential of over 20 years.
Tasting Notes
Deep ruby-red appearance with aromas of red berries — blackcurrant, blackberry — and subtle anise notes. The palate is fruit-forward with good structure, red fruit flavors, and light spice.
