Milenrama is a fresh, vibrant Rioja project from sisters Ruth and Ana de Andres, sourcing thirty-year-old bush vines in the rolling foothills of the Sierra de la Yerga in Rioja Oriental. The name is Spanish for yarrow, a wildflower common along the vineyard paths. This 100 percent Tempranillo Blanco comes from vines planted at 300-500 meters in gravelly clay-limestone soil, briefly macerated and fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel, then rested three months on fine lees before bottling under screwcap.
