Profile & Story

Caposaldo is a Veneto Prosecco house; fruit for this DOC bottling is hand harvested from 100% DOC-rated vines around twenty years old in Pieve di Soligo (Treviso), one of the fifteen communes authorized for Prosecco production. Made from Glera using the Charmat (autoclave) method with a preferred natural second fermentation for a fine, persistent sparkle.

Tasting Notes

Bright straw yellow with a fine, persistent bead; fruity aromas of citrus, green apple and acacia blossom; soft and round on the palate with pleasant acidity and freshness.
