Medici Ermete & Figli, based in Gaida di Reggio Emilia, is one of Lambrusco's most historic estates. The 'Quercioli' Secco is sourced from the estate's own organically farmed Quercioli vineyard and blends Lambrusco Salamino and Marani grapes, pairing Salamino's aromatic structure with Marani's fresh acidity; a secondary Charmat-method fermentation produces the wine's bubbles. The winery is Equalitas-certified sustainable and carbon neutral.
Tasting Notes
Deep ruby red with a lively, persistent foam; aromas of red berries and violet; dry and refreshing on the palate with the grape's characteristic light tannic grip on the finish.
