Cantine San Marzano farms in the Salento, the stretch of Puglia between the Ionian and Tyrrhenian seas; the Tramari vineyards sit on thin, clay-rich, stony soil roughly 100 meters above sea level, espalier-trained and harvested in early September. Made entirely from Primitivo, given a brief skin maceration before being pressed off to ferment as a white wine ('in bianco'), then matured about 3 months in steel before bottling.
