Profile & Story
Serafini & Vidotto farms the Montello hill in Nervesa della Battaglia (Treviso, Veneto), where Pinot Nero has been cultivated since the early 1990s. This bottling is vinified in purity from fruit harvested between late August and early September, then aged in steel for at least six months.
Tasting Notes
Distinctly burgundy in color; aromas of ripe raspberry, wild strawberry and violet with notes of eucalyptus, dark chocolate and candied citrus; soft tannins, fresh acidity and a warm, harmonious finish.
Pairing Recommendation
The producer suggests pairing with braised meats, seared lamb chops, and medium-aged goat or pecorino cheeses.
