Profile & Story

Tenuta di Biserno, founded by brothers Lodovico and Piero Antinori, farms the Campo di Sasso vineyard in Bibbona on the Tuscan coast adjacent to Bolgheri. 'Insoglio del Cinghiale' -- named for the wild boar's wallow -- is a blend of Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot, vinified mostly in stainless steel with brief oak aging to preserve primary fruit intensity.

Tasting Notes

Bright ruby color; aromas of dried raspberry, cherry and wild plum; an easy-drinking, fruit-forward palate with soft tannins and rustic character true to its Maremma roots.
