Valala is the value-label project of Jean-Francois Merieau, one of the benchmark growers of the Touraine. Sourced from sustainably-farmed parcels owned by friends of his, the Sauvignon Blanc comes from limestone hillsides around the Cher river and is aged five months on its lees for a more aromatic profile while keeping the bright, crisp acidity typical of the region.
