Il Nuraghe - Cantina di Mogoro is a longstanding cooperative in the Oristano hills of western Sardinia dedicated to the island's native varieties. Nero Sardo is their Cannonau di Sardegna DOC, vinified from 100% Cannonau, Sardinia's own clone of Grenache.
Tasting Notes
Bright, intense ruby red with garnet reflections; delicate aromas of violet, rose, red fruit and aromatic herbs; soft on the attack, savory and round, with fresh berry flavors and good supporting acidity.
