Profile & Story
Carletto is a label of the Candoni-De Zan family of wines, named for Armando De Zan's uncle Carletto, an agronomist honored as Cavaliere del Lavoro for his work championing native Italian vines. The Montepulciano is sourced from vineyards in the hilly Apennine terrain of Abruzzo.
Tasting Notes
Ruby red with bold aromas of cherries and spice; a fresh, well-balanced palate of dark stone fruit and juicy berries with warming spice, black pepper and fine, integrated tannins.
