Profile & Story
Produced by Zenato under its Azienda Agricola S. Cristina label at Peschiera del Garda on the southern shore of Lake Garda, from 100% Chardonnay grown on clay-limestone soils. Grapes are hand-harvested in early September, fermented in stainless steel for 15-20 days at 16-18C, then aged 4-5 months in steel plus 2-3 months in bottle before release.
Tasting Notes
Straw yellow with green reflections; an intense, floral nose; mineral, balanced, soft and delicate on the palate.
Pairing Recommendation
Excellent with lake-fish dishes and spaghetti alle vongole.
