Profile & Story
Argiolas is one of Sardinia's leading family wineries, based in Serdiana. Costamolino, named for the coastal sands near the vineyards, is 100% Vermentino, gently pressed with only free-run juice used, cold-settled, then fermented at 16-18C for about 20 days with a brief period of aging on the fine lees before bottling.
Tasting Notes
Straw yellow with light green tinges; a subtle, intense and delicate bouquet with good primary and secondary aromas; fresh, dry and sapid on the palate with a delicate, fine texture.
Pairing Recommendation
The producer recommends seafood starters, fregola with crustaceans, fish stews, sea bass with artichokes, and soft to medium-mature cheeses.
