Mura Mura is a boutique estate in Costigliole d'Asti founded in 2008 by childhood friends Guido Martinetti and Federico Grom (co-founders of the Grom gelato brand). Miolera, named for the vineyard it comes from, is mostly Barbera blended with small amounts of Ruche and Grignolino grown on sandy soil; whole-berry fermented with about 12 days of maceration, then aged 12 months in barriques/tonneaux, 12 months in 400-liter clay vessels, and a further 6 months in bottle.
