Maison Foucher is a Loire Valley négociant based in Aligny-Cosne, about 30km northeast of Sancerre — a third-generation family enterprise founded in 1921 by the Lubrun-Foucher family, crafting classic expressions of Loire appellations. This non-vintage Brut, "Cuvée des Roys de Naples," blends 50% Chenin Blanc, 25% Chardonnay, and 25% Pinot Noir from vineyards around Montlouis-sur-Loire, farmed under "lutte raisonnée" (sustainable, reasoned-input) practices. It is made in the traditional method (méthode traditionnelle, second fermentation in bottle) with 24 months aging on lees — double the appellation's minimum.
