Historic Volnay estate (founded mid-18th century; ninth-generation Etienne de Montille), organic since 1995 and biodynamic since 2005, with whole-bunch vinification for the reds. The Bourgogne Rouge is Pinot Noir from the estate's regional holdings in the Côte de Beaune.
