Profile & Story

Patricia Green Cellars farms the Ribbon Ridge AVA within Oregon's Willamette Valley, on an estate purchased in 2000 by Patty Green and Jim Anderson, dry-farmed and practicing organic viticulture on marine sedimentary soils planted 1998-2010. The Estate Vineyard (Old Vine) Pinot Noir ferments with about 15% whole clusters and gentle pigeage extraction, aging 10 months in 30% new French oak, unfined and unfiltered. 13.5% ABV.

Tasting Notes

Deep ruby color with black cherry, spice, polished wood, cedar and purple florals; savory and medium-to-full-bodied with plush, velvety tannins and a long, elegant finish. (Jeb Dunnuck, 93 points)
