Empire Estate Wine is based in New York's Finger Lakes, a region with a long history of grape-growing and winemaking whose sparkling wine production, dating back to the late 1800s, first put the area on the world wine map. Their Brut Rosé is a traditional-method sparkling wine made from 95% Riesling and 5% Pinot Noir, produced in the Finger Lakes using méthode champenoise.
Tasting Notes
It shows a vibrant rose-pink color with a persistent mousse. The nose offers red cherry, raspberry, and baked lemon alongside notes of toasted brioche and racy mineral aromas of gravel and limestone, while the palate brings refined bubbles and brisk acidity with flavors of strawberry and lemon cream, orange blossom, and stone fruit, carrying through to a long, mineral finish.
