Château Phélan Ségur traces four families and more than two centuries of history in Saint-Estèphe, on the Gironde in Bordeaux, rooted in Irish origins and a shared passion for terroir and innovation. Frank Phélan, the estate's second wine, was created in 1986 and takes its name from the son of Bernard Phélan, the château's founder. It is drawn from fifteen hectares of old vines together with a selection of vines under ten years old, and is made to honor the classic values of the château while expressing a different facet of its terroir.
