Baldoria's orange/amber vermouth is built on a skin-contact ('orange') wine from Rkatsiteli grapes in the Georgian amber-wine tradition. Botanicals - wormwood, sweet orange, lavender, clove, cinnamon, savory, rosemary, sage and macis - are macerated separately in neutral spirit and in wine, then blended and aged in steel tanks, with no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives.
Tasting Notes
Shows assertive, oxidative notes of baked apple, caramel and orange peel from the Georgian base wine, with savoury, spicy herbal qualities; delicately sweet with an earthy bass note. The Rkatsiteli grape lends green apple, citrus, honey and walnut tones and a rich amber colour.
