Profile & Story
Since 1888 the Antica Distilleria Bordiga has produced spirits in Cuneo, Piedmont, using artisanal methods and original recipes. This white vermouth follows the distillery's original historic recipe, using Alpine botanicals hand-picked in the Cuneo Alps, fine Piedmontese wines and exotic spices, with a 40-50 day production process, then 15-20 days of cellar rest at about 15 C and natural filtration.
Tasting Notes
Intense yellow with amber notes. The nose is vinous with floral and spicy notes; the palate is intense and vinous, opening with the typical sweet note of Moscato that evolves into a persistent, pleasant bitterness. 18% ABV.
Pairing Recommendation
Pairs with blue and/or aged cheeses; serve at 10-12 C. Also features in cocktails such as the Pink Negroni and the Irish.
