Profile & Story

Established in 1868 in Cubzac-les-Ponts, on the limestone banks of the Dordogne between Bordeaux and Libourne, Café de Paris makes its sparkling wines by the Charmat method, with natural effervescence developing over 15–20 days in closed tanks. The wines are blended from Colombard, Gamay and Cabernet Franc and are crafted and bottled in Cubzac-les-Ponts, in the Bordeaux region.

Tasting Notes

A Brut rosé with fine, light aromas of red fruits — strawberry and raspberry — and sweet pear; the palate is fresh and thirst-quenching, with red-berry notes and a nice roundness.

Pairing Recommendation

Lovely as an aperitif, and with light appetizers and fruit-based desserts.
