Profile & Story
The Landhaus Mayer range comes from the house of Mayer am Pfarrplatz, whose Austrian winemaking tradition dates back to 1683. This Grüner Veltliner is grown in selected vineyards in the Weinviertel of Lower Austria, on loess and clay soils at around 250 metres. Hand-harvested from 8–12-year-old vines, it is fermented and matured in stainless-steel tanks; about 12.5% alcohol.
Tasting Notes
Peppery notes mingle with clear grapefruit aromas; the body is well-balanced, with pleasant acidity and a delicate herbal spiciness and a lively finish. Medium-bodied, lively and refreshing — a classic, quaffable Grüner.

A versatile food wine, good with salads, fresh vegetables, fish and poultry.
