Profile & Story
Stoneleigh is a Marlborough winery that follows a philosophy of minimum intervention, so the vibrant flavours of the fruit are captured in every bottle. The grapes are machine-harvested and destemmed in the vineyard, then gently bag-pressed and fermented slowly at cool temperatures to retain the varietal character of Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.
Tasting Notes
Light-bodied and aromatic, with abundant passionfruit and lime zest and a hint of herbs on the nose; the palate offers tropical fruit, guava and pink grapefruit with hints of lemongrass and bell pepper, and mouth-watering acidity and minerality.
Pairing Recommendation
Best served at 6–8°C. Its bright citrus and tropical-fruit character and zesty acidity cut through the richness of seafood while complementing lighter, fresh dishes.
