Domaine Daniel Reverdy et Fils farms 9.3 hectares around the hamlet of Chaudenay in Verdigny, five kilometers from Sancerre, working the vineyards through to bottling with respect for their terroir; the estate is HVE Level 3 certified. The soils are predominantly Terres blanches, clay-limestone, which lend the wines a complex, floral and fruity character with mineral nuances. This Sancerre is 100% Sauvignon Blanc from thirty-five-year-old vines, fermented at low temperature and aged six months on total lees.

Pairing Recommendation

Lovely as an aperitif, and an excellent match for fish and cheeses, especially Crottin de Chavignol.
