Profile & Story

Dow's is one of the great historic Port houses of the Douro, founded in 1798 and part of the Symington family's portfolio of estates in Vila Nova de Gaia. Made under head winemaker Charles Symington, this Fine Ruby Port is bottled at 19% alcohol with 4.0 g/L tartaric acidity, blended for a full-bodied, youthful style built for immediate drinking.

Tasting Notes

Full-bodied with appealing red fruit aromas and a deep, lively ruby colour. Fresh and youthful on the palate, with raspberry and cherry flavors carrying through to a long, intense finish.
