Quinta da Raza is a family-owned estate in Veade, Celorico de Basto, in the heart of the Basto sub-region of Vinho Verde, with roots tracing back to 1769 and the Teixeira Coelho family still at the helm today. The property spans some fifty hectares across fourteen vineyards at an average elevation of 250 meters, between the Tamega river valley and the Serra do Marao. Vicinus is a selection of the estate's Azal, Arinto and Trajadura grapes, hand-harvested into small boxes, pressed at low pressure and fermented in stainless steel at controlled temperatures before careful filtering and cold stabilization.
