Vignobles Bodillard is a family-run estate based in Villie-Morgon, at the heart of the Beaujolais, where vines have been tended across seven communes from Morgon to Saint-Veran for generations. The Bodillard family oversees every step from vine to bottle, farming small parcels on steep granite and schist slopes. This Beaujolais-Villages comes from fairly old, bush-trained vines grown on sandy granite soil near the villages of Emeringes and Vauxrenard. The grapes are hand-harvested and vinified as whole clusters through carbonic maceration for about ten days, then aged in vat for four months before bottling.
