Domaine Batard Langelier farms in Maisdon-sur-Sevre, a small commune just south of Nantes at the confluence of the Sevre and Maine rivers in the western Loire Valley, practicing organic methods. 'Les Prieres' is sourced from granite-based soils and 20+ year old vines, fermented with indigenous yeast in underground glass-lined tanks, aged 7 months on lees (sur lie), and bottled unfined and unfiltered.
