Pie de Palo is a partnership between importer T. Edward Wines and Finca Abril, a family winery founded in 1996 in the Uco Valley, Mendoza. Fruit is sourced from lower-lying plots in the La Consulta subregion, where vines draw on snowmelt from the Tunuyan River off the San Jose volcano; the wine is vinified in stainless steel rather than oak to preserve bright, fresh fruit character. The estate follows organic practices, though not certified.
