La Forestina is crafted in the morainic hills between Verona and Vicenza in the Veneto, shaped by ancient marine sedimentation and glacial movement; Lake Garda's moderating influence and limestone-rich soils suit sparkling wine production. This Prosecco DOC is 100% Glera, given a 5-10 hour cold maceration before primary fermentation, then a Charmat-method secondary fermentation in stainless steel, resting on lees about 4 months before bottling.
