Maeli is a winery in the Colli Euganei, the volcanic hills south of Padua in Veneto, where vines are planted on Monte Pirio's dark, mineral-rich soils. La Donna Cavatappi was created as a lighter, everyday side-project to the estate's classic range, blending other grape varieties from the property into a wine made without the constraints of a fixed varietal or vintage recipe.
