Masseria Tagaro is a family-run winery in the Valle d'Itria, in the heart of Puglia, now in its third generation under the Lorusso family; at 450 meters elevation, it is considered the largest family-run winery in Apulia, working mostly native varieties such as Primitivo, Negroamaro and Susumaniello alongside select international plantings. 'Malbec di Zio Mario' is one of the estate's Puglia IGT bottlings, an unusual expression of Malbec grown in this warm, sun-drenched region.
