Villa Sparina has produced Gavi since 1970, farming 100 hectares in the hills of Monterotondo -- one of the best-exposed sites for Cortese in Gavi -- of which 70 hectares are planted to native grapes for Gavi and Barbera. Their Gavi di Gavi comes exclusively from the Cortese grape.
Tasting Notes
A distinctive, long-lasting, mineral wine with balanced acidity, showing stone fruit and citrus character typical of Cortese grown on Gavi's limestone-rich soils.
