From a historic site above Lake Caldaro, with 80–90-year-old pergola-trained vines on calcareous, dolomite-rich gravel. Vernatsch (Schiava) with ~5% Teroldego/Lagrein; fermented ~2 weeks in wooden vats, then racked to large barrels for malolactic and aging until early summer.
