Founded in 2000 by Morten and Lisa Hallgren, Ravines Wine Cellars sits on shale-stone slopes between two ravines on Keuka Lake. French-trained oenologist Morten Hallgren draws on his family's South of France winemaking background to craft cool-climate Finger Lakes wines.
Tasting Notes
A textbook cool-climate Chardonnay with meyer lemon, white flowers, and hints of nutmeg on the nose; the palate offers ripe mango and pear with stony minerality, elegant and creamy with subtle spice and a persistent, succulent finish.
