Profile & Story
Alberto Graci farms on the north slope of Mount Etna at Passopisciaro, having bought the estate in 2004; the Etna Bianco DOC blends 90% Carricante and 10% Catarratto from vines at 600-800m on iron-rich volcanic soil, planted at about 6,300 vines/hectare. Whole-cluster pressed without destemming, it ferments spontaneously in steel and a small portion of oak, then matures on its lees in steel for about six months before further bottle age.
Tasting Notes
Bright straw yellow with greenish reflections; citrus, floral and mineral notes with subtle Mediterranean herb and flint character. Fresh, savory and vertical on the palate, with vibrant acidity and a long mineral finish.
