La Rasina is a fourth-generation, certified-organic family estate on the northeast slopes of Montalcino, farming 11 of its 45 hectares at about 1,150 feet, under Marco Mantengoli's direction since 1997. The Brunello is 100% Sangiovese (Brunello), aged 24 months in 20-40hl oak casks followed by 6 months in bottle.
Tasting Notes
Ruby red with aromas of fruit and spice and a robust, persistent flavor on the palate; best opened two hours before serving.
