Profile & Story

Michele Chiarlo farms more than 270 acres across Piedmont, and the Nivole fruit comes from the hills around Canelli. Whole bunches are hand-harvested and gently pressed, the must is held at -2C and then fermented slowly in autoclave until the wine reaches just 5 percent alcohol. Chiarlo named it Nivole after the Piedmontese word for clouds.

Tasting Notes

A brilliant straw yellow, this fragrant Moscato d'Asti has floral aromas typical of Moscato with notes of peach and apricot. It is creamy and fragrant on the palate, with a pleasant fine bubble and a finish which is particularly fresh.

Pairing Recommendation

An excellent companion to fresh pastries and fruit such as strawberries and peaches.
