Profile & Story
Pasini San Giovanni, founded in 1958 by Andrea Pasini and now run by a third generation, farms certified-organic vineyards in Raffa di Puegnago and Picedo di Polpenazze on the Brescia shore of Lake Garda. Rosaluce, the estate's traditional Valtènesi rosé (formerly labeled Il Chiaretto), blends Groppello, Marzemino, Barbera and Sangiovese, made with short skin contact and soft pressing in steel.
Tasting Notes
A luminous coral-pink wine with aromas of rose, strawberry and pomegranate and a savory, unmistakably juicy character.
Pairing Recommendation
Aperitif, first courses, fish soups, white meats, cured meats and lake fish; serve at 10-12C.
