Profile & Story
From Monforte d’Alba (Cn). This vineyard of 3 hectares has southern/southeastern/southwestern exposures and average altitude of 360 meters. The soil is Lequio formation (Serravalliano), young soils with poor/minimal hydration made up of calcareous clay marls. The planting took place from 2001-2016 with a density of 4.200 vines per hectare. This produces a yield of 90 quintals of grapes per hectare. The fertilization is organic and compost. The wine is fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks.
Tasting Notes
An intense and vibrant ruby red color. with a fresh, floral and fruity nose which is the prelude to a smooth and enjoyably velvety experience with a juicy finish.
Pairing Recommendation
Pairs well with cheeses and meats. Suitable for any cuisine and best with earthy risottos.
