Velante is a Pinot Grigio bottling produced under the historic Bertani name, sourced from Friuli Venezia Giulia (Gorizia, Pordenone, Trieste and Udine provinces). Bertani, founded in 1857 in Valpantena near Verona, is one of Veneto's most storied producers, closely associated with Amarone.

Tasting Notes

100% Pinot Grigio, fermented in steel at a controlled 58-60F and rested in tank for about four months (12.5% ABV); clean and fresh with orchard-fruit character typical of the variety.
