Cantele is a family winery founded in 1979 by Augusto Cantele with his father and brother Domenico, based in Guagnano in the heart of the Salento DOC where Negroamaro dominates the landscape. This Rosato is 100% Negroamaro, achieved through a meticulous 12-14 hour skin maceration to extract color and aroma, and is best enjoyed within 1-2 years of the vintage.
Tasting Notes
Essence of geranium and rose combined with strawberry and cherry; aromas of pomegranate, raspberry and orange blossom, clean and precise. Taut, savory and dry on the palate.
